The Corporation of Shepherdstown is seeking residents to serve as the volunteer Town Representative to the Board of Directors of the Jefferson County Development Authority (JCDA).  Applicants should have a strong interest in the future economic and community development for Shepherdstown and the County overall, and must be available to participate actively in meetings of the JCDA Board and its committees.

Interested residents should submit a letter of interest with information on their qualifications to the Town Clerk by April 4, 2025. 

The Town Council will select up to three candidates for this position at the April 9, 2025, Town Council meeting. The names of the selected candidates will be forwarded to the Jefferson County Commission.  It is anticipated that the County Commission will select the Town Representative from those nominated by the Town.
