The Corporation of Shepherdstown has appointed Mr. Gino E. Sisco as Town Administrator. 

In this position, Sisco will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the town government, including finances and management of town departments and employees.  He will report directly to the mayor and will also provide support for Town Council and committee activities.

In announcing the appointment, Mayor James Gatz said, “Mr. Sisco is a skilled manager with significant experience in leading staff teams, budgeting, and addressing complex issues.  He has excellent credentials and a positive can-do attitude.  We are thrilled and eager to welcome him to Town Hall.”

Mr. Sisco is a resident of Jefferson County, West Virginia.  He is currently employed as the Local Health Administrator/Executive Director of the Jefferson County Health Department.  His educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy from American University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Shepherd University.  His volunteer work has included serving on the Board of Directors of the Harpers Ferry-Bolivar Water Commission, and he is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Jefferson County Development Authority.

Mr. Sisco begins his new position in late January 2025.
